| The name Twingo is said to have come from the combination of the words 'Twist', 'Swing' and 'Tango'. The original designer of the Twingo is the famous French car designer Patrick Le Quement, whose motto is 'Design = Quality'. The Second generation Twingo has already gone on sale in France, Italy and Slovenia (where it is been made). Total production of the Twingo over the years is approaching 2.5 million, a popular car by any measure
